“So, the Beast is good at hiding, so what?”
“Beast nothing. This guy’s a ghost. I have access to every criminal database imaginable and haven’t found jack shit. There are plenty of low-level hoodlums that call themselves the Beast, but no one with any juice. No one that seems to have crossed paths with our club or any other for that matter.”
“So, the Beast either has no criminal record, or is brand new to the scene,” I said.
“Or has a hacker on his payroll who’s as good as we are. Someone who’s successfully scrubbed the Beast’s digital footprint from existence. And, if that’s the case, we’re screwed.”
“Not necessarily,” I said. My mental gears starting to grind.
“What are you thinkin’?” Booker asked.
“When you said scrubbed clean, that got me thinking.”
“About what?”
“You ever scrub a sink?” I asked.
“Not if I can avoid it,” Booker replied with a chuckle.
“When you scrub a sink, you get rid of the dirt with some sort of cleanser, right?”
“Sure.”
“So, once it’s scrubbed, the dirt gets washed down the drain never to be seen again. But what about the cleanser? What about that invisible layer of film left behind by the soap?”
“I see where you’re going with this.” I could hear Booker smiling on the other end of the phone. “Pretty fuckin’ smart kid.”
I hung up and immediately got to work writing a tracer program. Rather than search for data this time, I was looking for digital soap scum. If I could find leftover traces of whatever software was employed to erase the Beast from the web, maybe I’d be able to paint a picture using the negative space. After a few hours of programing, I called my sister.
“Hey, dork wad,” Jette answered.
“I just put an executable in your draft folder with a list from Booker. I need you to coordinate with him and run that program on the servers on that list. He’ll make sure you have access.”
We communicated through a joint email account where we’d write drafts to one another, but never send them. Logging in at least once a day to check to see if there was anything.
“What is this?” she asked, laughing. “Scrubbing Bubbles dot e-x-e?”
“I don’t have time to explain. Booker will fill you in. Can you do this for me?”
“You know I’d do anything for you, but this kind of activity could draw attention to me.”
“You know I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t important. Do what you can, but be safe.”
“I always am.”
“If that was the case, you wouldn’t be hiding from the FBI in the first place.”
“Wow, you’re being an asshole while you’re asking for a favor?”
“You know I love you, sis.”
“Yeah, yeah. Check back in a few days,” she said, and hung up.

Friday night, Rabbit drove me to the barn where I was meeting the rest of the ladies before we headed out as a group to Blurr.
I wouldn’t give him the satisfaction of saying it out loud, but I was kind of excited to be patronizing the new club. I hadn’t had a night of drinking and dancing with my girls in a long time, and now that my circle of friends had multiplied, I was practically bouncing off the walls.
“You need me to take care of some of that energy for you, wife?” Rabbit asked, pulling me into one of the bunk rooms and pushing me up against the locked door.
I slid my hands up his chest. “Pretty sure the margaritas and dancing’s gonna take care of that, husband, but thanks.”
He slid my skirt up my hips and knelt in front of me, pressing his lips to my mound. I felt my panties flood immediately. “Let me get you started.”
“I’m already soaked,” I complained as he tongued my clit through the lace of my panties.
“This isn’t a problem for me.” He hooked his fingers under the edges and slid them down my thighs, stopping at my knees before sliding his tongue over my clit. “So fuckin’ sexy.”
“I can’t spread like this, Zane,” I rasped, sliding my hands into his hair.
He slipped his hand between my legs, dipping a finger inside of me as he palmed my clit. “I don’t want you to spread yet.”
I mewed as he worked my pussy into a quivering mess.
Literally.
I moaned as I came on his fingers and he lifted his hand to his mouth, licking each digit clean. “Fuckin’ delicious.”
I bit my lip and smiled as I tried to catch my breath. I leaned down to fix my panties, but he stopped me.
“I’m not done,” he said, kissing me, then nodding toward the window. “Shuffle on over to that chair and bend over.”
“Honey, I’m wearing four-inch heels.”
He wrapped his arms around my waist, lifting me and carrying me to the chair. “Bend over.”
I did so immediately.
I heard the clang of his belt buckle and I swear my pussy flooded again, as I braced my hands on the arms of the chair.
Then he was inside of me and I desperately wanted to throw my panties in the corner. “Rabbit,” I panted out. “My underwear...”
“Are gonna stay right where they are,” he said, smacking my ass.
“Oh, god,” I squeaked, my walls contracting as he buried himself deep.
“Don’t come.”
“Then quit slappin’ my ass,” I hissed.
He grunted, slamming into me, then pulling out slowly.
“You’re punishing me for something,” I complained. “I just don’t know what.”
He chuckled burying himself deep again. “Just want you to remember the feel of my dick in your cunt, Pebbles.”
“In what universe would I forget?” I demanded, pushing back against him.
“Good answer, baby.”
He slammed into me, again and again until an orgasm hit me hard and fast. I couldn’t stop myself from screaming his name and he caught me around my waist before I completely lost my hold on the chair.
He slid his hand between my legs from the front and fingered my clit as he continued to slam into me until he let out a quiet grunt and his dick pulsed inside of me.
“No way in hell I’ll ever forget that,” I whispered, dropping my head back on his shoulder.
He kissed the nape of my neck before pulling out of me. “I love you.”
“Love you, too, baby.” I faced him with a smile. “I have wipes in my purse.”
“Of course you do.”
“Don’t judge me. You fuck me in weird places. I need to be prepared.”
He chuckled, pulling his jeans up and grabbing my purse off the floor, handing it to me. I cleaned up, wrapping the wipes in a tissue and handing them to Rabbit.
“What am I supposed to do with these?”
“You made the mess, you clean it up.”
He chuckled, kissing me quickly. “Fair.”
We headed out to the great room and Rabbit left me to discard the trash while I sat on the sofa next to Willow. Her daughter, Alfie, climbed up between us. “Auntie Pebbles?”
I bit back a laugh. The second she’d heard Rabbit call me Pebbles, I was no longer Auntie Parker.
“Yes, baby girl?”
“Is Rabbit your boyfriend?”
“He’s actually my husband now.”
She wrinkled her nose. “Oh.”
“Why?”
“Because I wanted to be flower girl.”
“You still can, honey. We’re going to have a big party next month. Mama can find you a pretty dress and you can be the flower girl.”
She clapped her hands. “Yay!”
“Say thank you to Auntie Parker,” Willow prodded.
“Thanks Auntie.” She hugged me and climbed off the sofa. “I’m gonna tell Daddy.”
“Okay, baby.” Willow grinned, waiting for her to leave the room before asking me, “I thought the party was happening next week?”
I shook my head. “My dress won’t be here for two more.”
“Does Rabbit know this?”
I chuckled. “Yes. We just got the confirmation today. Which is what I was going to tell all of you tonight.”
“That helps in the planning.”
“That’s what I said.”
“I love how we get to go out and drink to oblivion while our men stay home and watch the kids,” Olivia said, flopping into one of the oversized chairs. “I’ve pumped enough to feed the twins for a week.”
“Well done,” Willow said. “You’ll have the freedom to pump and dump tomorrow.”
“Where’s Jazz?” Olivia asked.
“She’ll be here soon,” I said.
“Pregnancy and a toddler are a handful,” Willow provided.
Just as she said that, Jasmine walked in followed by Alamo carrying their son, Sebastian. Doc walked in the room and Baz yelled, “Oc!” and pitched toward the president of the club.
Doc laughed, catching him and lifting him over his head. “Hey, buddy.”
Sebastian squealed with laughter and Doc set him on his feet.
“Come on, baby, let’s get that diaper changed,” Jasmine said.
“I got him, Firefly,” Alamo said, picking Sebastian up again and walking him to the kids’ room in the back.
Jasmine lowered herself next to me and settled her hands on her belly. “I really wish I could drink.”
“Uh-oh, rough day?”
She rolled her head toward me. “Couldn’t sleep last night. Up most of the night puking.”
“Still?” Olivia asked. “That sucks.”
“I’m rapidly approaching my third trimester and I swear, if I’m puking and as huge as I was with Sebastian, I am never getting pregnant again.”
“Are you sure you’re up to tonight?” I asked.
“Yes.”
“We don’t want you to overdo it,” Willow countered.
“Hush,” she rasped. “I want out. I miss you girls.”
I grinned. “I like that answer.”
“Hi lovelies!” Lyric called as she strolled in holding her baby Sterling.
“Hi,” Olivia said, jumping up. “You look hot as fuck.”
She really did. She wore a dark blue lace dress that hugged every curve. It landed just below her butt, it was backless and low cut in the front. It left nothing to the imagination and her silver Jimmy Choo sandals were the perfect complement.
Doom scowled behind Lyric.
“Let’s keep that talk to a minimum,” Lyric said. “Doom’s not dealing well with me dressing up.”
“You’re wearing a goddamn napkin,” he growled.
She grinned. “But it’s a pretty napkin and you liked it earlier when you asked me to keep my heels on while you lifted it over my head.”
He let out a quiet hiss, taking Sterling from her and stomping toward the kids’ playroom.
“He’s learning how to loosen his grip,” Lyric said, her tone full of sarcasm. “I’m so proud of him.”
We all burst into laughter just as Quin walked in, one of her best friends, Kennedy following. “Why am I always the last to the party?” Quin complained.
“Because Badger’s always late,” Willow retorted.
“This is sadly true.” Quin sighed. “He’s all about looking prettier than me.”
I snorted. “Not possible.”
Quin grinned, sitting beside Lyric. “Thanks, babe.”
Mouse walked in and gave us all the once over. “Y’all look real pretty, ladies.”
A collective, “Thanks,” made him grin.
“The party bus awaits. I’m drivin’, Shadow’s followin’.” He waved his hand toward the front door. “Your men are waiting out front.”
We grabbed our purses and jackets and filed out to the front where our men were, in fact, waiting for us. I couldn’t stop a quiet chuckle. They all had varying levels of scowly faces as we made our way to them.
Rabbit, on the other hand, just smiled and leaned down to kiss me. “You look beautiful.”
“Thanks, honey.” I wore a little black dress that was sleeveless, with a princess-seamed bodice, fitted waist, and fitted mini skirt. Sheer crochet lace covered my shoulders and part of my back and it was as comfortable as all get out. A pair of black booties finished off the outfit and I knew it was one of Rabbit’s favorites. Proved by the fact he’d already fucked me twice today.
“Where’s your necklace?” he asked.
“It’s here,” I said, tugging on the chain. I’d slid it under my dress so it wouldn’t get pulled off.
“Good. Mouse and Shadow’ll be with you all night, but if you need me, text me.”
“I’m gonna get drunk,” I warned.
“Hydrate in between because I want to fuck you in that dress again and I want you conscious.”
I wrinkled my nose. “Killjoy.”
He kissed me again and walked me to the van.
“...and you promise there are no hidden cameras in the club,” Olivia said, gripping Doc’s cut and staring up at him.
“I have no fuckin’ idea if there are hidden cameras in the club, baby. I don’t own it.”
She raised an eyebrow. “Who do you have on the inside reporting information back to you?”
“You have a vivid imagination.”
“That didn’t answer my question.”
He grinned, leaning down to kiss her quickly. “Go have fun, baby.”
“You have a reprieve, but I swear to god, if someone tries to make us go home before we want to, you and I are gonna have a very tense conversation.”
“I’ll hide the kitchen appliances,” he retorted, smacking her butt as he helped her into the van.
Jasmine and Willow burst into laughter as they followed Olivia and I knew I was going to need to find out what the hell that was all about.
I waited until the sliding door was closed and everyone was buckled in. “Spill,” I demanded, and Jasmine grinned.
“Before Olivia and Doc made it official,” Jasmine said, “Liv had a penchant for throwing small kitchen appliances at Doc’s head.”
“Or frying pans,” Lyric added.
“Oh my god,” I rasped, trying to catch my breath. I was laughing so hard, I was nearly snorting.
“In my defense, I was a little insecure about where I stood with Doc.”
“Even though he told you over and over again how much he loved you, and showed you every second he could,” Jasmine countered.
Olivia grimaced. “I was a little unstable then. But it’s all good now. I haven’t even thrown a pillow at him. I’ve evolved.”
“We’re all so, so proud,” Lyric said, and Olivia laughed.
“We’re here.” Mouse pulled the van into the parking lot of Blurr and turned off the engine, turning to face us. “Y’all know the ground rules, right?”
“Dance until we can’t stand, and fuck the first hottie I come across,” Kennedy quipped.
I watched as Mouse turned his head toward her...slowly, and then I heard Quin whisper, “Oh, shit.”
Continuing to stare Kennedy down, Mouse said, “Ladies, go ahead and step out. Kennedy and I are gonna have a quick conversation.”
“No, we’re not,” Kennedy countered.
Mouse gently took her arm as she tried to move to the door. “Ladies. Please.”
With that one quiet, “Please,” we scrambled out of the van where Shadow helped us stay on our feet.
“Close the door, brother,” Mouse said, and Shadow nodded, sliding the door closed.
In another lifetime, I would have protested, but having been around these bikers for a while now, and knowing Mouse personally, I had no qualms about leaving him alone in a van with the object of his desire, knowing he was gonna give her a little verbal spanking.
The door opened a few minutes later and a fuming Kennedy stepped out of the van. “He is such an asshole.”
“What did he say?” Quin asked.
“It’s not worth
repeating,” she ground out, shoving her purse strap over her shoulder. “Let’s just get inside. I’m going to get my drink on tonight...,” she turned toward Mouse and snapped, “...because I’m calling Remi tomorrow, and moving to Portland!”
Kennedy’s best friend, Remington, had fallen for and married a Dogs of Fire member out of Portland, Oregon, while she was there in a ballet conservatory. Kennedy often lamented how much she missed her, but this was the first time she’d talked, publicly, anyway, about leaving Savannah.
Mouse rolled his eyes. “Let’s get you ladies inside.”
We were a bit more somber as we made our way into the club, but once Mouse and Shadow left us, we came alive again.

Kennedy was three margaritas in when she began to rage against the machine, so to speak.
“He thinks that because he’s shoved his incredibly humongous dick in my pussy, he owns me. Huh-uh, nope. I informed him tonight that he was gonna have to find someone who actually wanted his giant cock. I do not.” She took a long sip of margarita number four. “Ever. Again. I don’t care that I had to upgrade my vibrator to extra-large because of him. I want nothing to do with his behemoth member.”
“But is his dick big?” Jasmine retorted.
“Oh my god, so big,” Kennedy mused wistfully, then shook her head. “But I don’t care. I don’t want it.”
“I thought you really liked Mouse,” Willow said.
“I thought I did, too.” Kennedy shrugged. “But I’ve decided I don’t anymore.”
“When did you decide that?” Willow pressed.
Kennedy took another long sip of her drink and then sighed. “Every day. I tell him every day.”
“You talk to him every day?”
She blushed. “I think we need to change the subject. Let’s dance!” She stood on wobbly legs and Jasmine chuckled, standing and steadying her before they made their way to the dancefloor.
“That girl’s in love with a man she’s trying desperately to ignore,” Quin mused.
I grinned. “I can’t wait to see what Mouse does going forward. I mean, if Rabbit wore me down, then Kennedy should be a breeze.”
“That’s the truth,” Willow said, and I laughed.
We joined Jasmine and Kennedy on the dancefloor and partied until we could barely stand.
Parker
By the time I walked into the barn with the rest of the women, I had leveled down from drunk to super tipsy and a little tired. We’d closed the club down and I was sweaty from all the dancing, which meant, I was feeling the cold.
